1. About the Conference

Mental Health Conference Zambia (MHC Zambia) is an annual conference held in Lusaka, Zambia, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Health, Zambia, and partner organizations across the mental health sector. By using this website and registration app (“the App”), or registering to attend, you agree to these Terms.

2. Registration & Accounts

To register, you must provide accurate and current information, including your name, contact details, and organization. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you submit, and for keeping your account credentials secure. Registration tiers, pricing, and categories (such as Early Bird, Standard, and Late Registration) are set by the conference organizers and may change ahead of each edition.

3. Payments

Payments are processed through our payment partners. Your ticket is confirmed once payment is received and verified. For refund, cancellation, or payment queries, contact info@mhczambia.net — requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

4. Conduct at the Conference

Attendees are expected to behave respectfully toward other delegates, speakers, facilitators, and staff, and to follow any health and safety guidance issued on site, consistent with the standards of the Ministry of Health, Zambia, and the World Health Organization (WHO). We may refuse entry or remove any attendee who does not comply.

5. Photography & Media

Photography and video may be taken at the conference for promotional and archival purposes, including on this website and our partners' channels. If you would prefer not to appear in such materials, let our team know on site.

6. Intellectual Property

Conference branding, program content, and materials made available through the App belong to MHC Zambia and its partners, or are used with permission. Presenters retain rights to their own presentations and abstracts.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the App — including attempting to register fraudulently, interfering with its normal operation, or accessing accounts or data that are not yours.

8. Liability

The App and conference are provided on an “as available” basis. While we take reasonable care in organizing the conference and operating the App, we are not liable for circumstances outside our reasonable control, including travel, venue, or third-party service disruptions.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Zambia.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time, for example ahead of each annual edition of the conference. We will update the “Last updated” date above when we do.
